We are seeking a skilled Dental EFDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, perform radiographic imaging, and ensure excellent patient care.

 

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs

- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist

- Maintain accurate patient records

-Be able to do the full range of EFDA duties

 

Requirements

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience

- X-Ray certification preferred

- Proficient in infection control procedures

- Knowledge of dental terminology and documentation

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

-Must have a current EFDA registration and radiology certification 

 

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week for part-time or 32-35 hours per week for full-time
